Poisoned Gravity is an short horror game about being in an isolated environment, cut off from other people for years on end on board a colony ship. The ship travels through the solar system at sub-light speeds, taking nearly a decade to reach its destination around Neptune's orbit - the minimum safe activation distance from the Sun for the ship's reality-distorting Gravity Drive. Whatever you do, do not look at the drive.
In order to avoid certain interactions with the Drive, the ship is designed to work almost entirely without conscious humans on board. As such, you spend decades of your life in a medically-induced coma, while your passengers are all in a true cryogenic state. No system is without entropy however, and you must wake every few years to validate your course, perform minor repairs, and make sure the ship's vital human cargo sleeps safe and sound.
Hi! I'm a solo developer. This game does not make use of any GenAI whatsoever, at any point for any reason by anyone. I love making games and this is a hard line I will never cross! I'm hand-making all the models and textures, my partner is making all the music, and all the sound effects are either coming from libraries that predate GenAI or we're making them ourselves by cutting up and distorting Zenology samples and modular synth stuff. I'm also not using any store assets, everything is custom-made just for this game so it should look and feel cohesive and fresh. I have no problem with games using asset bundles, but they don't really fit for what I have in mind!
